in Selling a House

House sale is a go. Prepare for launch.

I have no idea why I’m being so cheesy. Except –  even lame humor releases tension.

We sold our house!

The buyers take possession June 25. Common-sense precaution nudges me to keep the details mum for now. Never fear, I will share the crunchy numbers once the dollars have safely traded hands. Suffice to say, we will not have to bring any money to the table. That’s the main thing.

The house was on the market for a whopping nine days until we had an offer (11 days once negotiations were complete) — not the two weeks and five days I originally thought, if you follow me on twitter. I erroneously counted from the day I contacted the realtor; not the day the house went into the MLS system.

In other news — The Hubs comes home this week! How surreal would that be? To leave home for a few months, then come back to find it sold out from under you. Well, not from under him, exactly. But you know what I mean.

Congratulations! Everything is moving so fast, but yet so slow… :-)

I hope that everything goes smoothly and that those orders come through so that TMO can do all the packing and stuff you need.

I can TOTALLY understand your anxiety. I’ll be praying for you all!

Congrats! Onward and upward.

So, I am guessing the plan is a temporary apartment or something until the official order come down? OK, and don’t shoot the messenger…..but what if you don’t get orders and you end up staying?

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! Oh, Mysti, you are so funny. That would never happen.
